Travertine Mildew, Dirt, and Grime
Located in the beautiful Dallas/Fort Worth metro area, a backyard oasis had lost its appeal due to the poor condition of the travertine floor. The stone had been exposed to the elements for years without any professional attention. The travertine surface had developed holes, which were covered in mildew and embedded with dirt and grime.
Our Travertine Restoration Process
First, we performed a heavy-duty cleaning to flush out all the contaminants and completely sanitize the surface, using a pH-balanced cleaner powerful enough for heavy duty cleaning, yet completely safe to use on travertine. We then meticulously filled all the holes on every piece of tile. Finally, we cleaned the stone again to remove any residue from the filler material, and then sealed with impregnator sealer.
